Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMU1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 24,353 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMU1-associated proteins across cancer lineages are SUPT16H, SUPT6H, and TCERG1. Each is linked with SMU1 in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMU1-to-partner and partner-to-SMU1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMU1 versus SUPT16H in GBM, with a Pearson correlation of 0.76.
