Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMS protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,355 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMS-associated genes across cancer lineages are POLA1, PRPS2, and TAB3. Each is linked with SMS in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMS-to-partner and partner-to-SMS results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMS versus POLA1 in HNSC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.38.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMS→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMS) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
