SMIM8

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMIM8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,565 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMIM8-associated genes across cancer lineages are TRDJ1, RNF43, and KCNIP3. Each is linked with SMIM8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMIM8-to-partner and partner-to-SMIM8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMIM8 versus TRDJ1 in OV, with a Pearson correlation of -0.49.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMIM8→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMIM8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
