SMIM6

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMIM6 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 24 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMIM6-associated genes across cancer lineages are BPTFP1, MLECP1, and SALL4P1. Each is linked with SMIM6 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMIM6-to-partner and partner-to-SMIM6 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, BPTFP1 grouped by SMIM6-low versus SMIM6-high in UCEC.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMIM6→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMIM6) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
