Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMIM15P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SMIM15P2 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher SMIM15P2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMIM15P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and STAD show a favorable association.
CESC, LAML, and ESCA are the cancer types where SMIM15P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
