Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMIM10L2A RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SMIM10L2A data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SMIM10L2A RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMIM10L2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and KIRC show a favorable association.
UVM, KIRC, and MESO are the cancer types where SMIM10L2A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
