Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMG9 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,962 significant associations in total. CNS shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMG9-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Regulation of nuclear-transcribed mRNA catabolic process, nonsense-mediated decay, Negative regulation of calcium ion export across plasma membrane, and Positive regulation of intracellular steroid hormone receptor signaling pathway. Each is linked with SMG9 in more than 14 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMG9-to-partner and partner-to-SMG9 results are reported.
