SMG8

protein abundance — cross-omics
Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMG8 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,441 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMG8-associated genes across cancer lineages are CENPI, RAD51AP1, and HROB. Each is linked with SMG8 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMG8-to-partner and partner-to-SMG8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMG8 versus CENPI in BRCA, with a Pearson correlation of 0.37.

protein abundance associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMG8→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMG8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
