SMC3

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMC3 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 489 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMC3-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR8D1, OR8B2, and SPATA19. Each is linked with SMC3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMC3-to-partner and partner-to-SMC3 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, OR8D1 grouped by SMC3-low versus SMC3-high in BLOOD_Lymphoma.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMC3→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMC3) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
