Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMC1A RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,821 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMC1A-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are DNA strand elongation involved in DNA replication, Negative regulation of cell cycle process, and Positive regulation of mitotic cytokinesis. Each is linked with SMC1A in more than 19 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMC1A-to-partner and partner-to-SMC1A results are reported.
