SMC1A

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMC1A mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 71 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMC1A-associated genes across cancer lineages are CENPVL1, OR1L3, and TRAPPC3L. Each is linked with SMC1A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMC1A-to-partner and partner-to-SMC1A results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, CENPVL1 grouped by SMC1A-low versus SMC1A-high in BLOOD_Leukemia.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMC1A→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMC1A) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
