Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCA5-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SMARCA5-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SMARCA5-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCA5-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and UCEC show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and UCS are the cancer types where SMARCA5-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
