Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SMARCA4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SMARCA4 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 11 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SMARCA4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SMARCA4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where SMARCA4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
