Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SMAD5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,510 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SMAD5-associated genes across cancer lineages are NME5, BRD8, and SKP1. Each is linked with SMAD5 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD5-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD5 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SMAD5 versus NME5 in OV, with a Pearson correlation of 0.36.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMAD5→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMAD5) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
