SMAD2

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SMAD2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 139 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SMAD2-associated genes across cancer lineages are XAGE5, RNF125, and GPR63. Each is linked with SMAD2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SMAD2-to-partner and partner-to-SMAD2 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, XAGE5 grouped by SMAD2-low versus SMAD2-high in OVARY.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SMAD2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SMAD2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
