Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLX1A RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLX1A data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SLX1A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLX1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and THYM show a favorable association.

KIRC, KICH, and DLBC are the cancer types where SLX1A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
