Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLMAP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLMAP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLMAP Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLMAP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and STAD are the cancer types where SLMAP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
