Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLK Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLK data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLK Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LUSC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SLK Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
