Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLIRP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLIRP data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLIRP mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLIRP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where SLIRP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
