Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLFN5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,422 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SLFN5-associated genes across cancer lineages are OAS2, XAF1, and CD6. Each is linked with SLFN5 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLFN5-to-partner and partner-to-SLFN5 results are reported.
