Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC4A1AP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC4A1AP data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SLC4A1AP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC4A1AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where SLC4A1AP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
