Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC49A4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC49A4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SLC49A4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC49A4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, PRAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC49A4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
