Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC39A8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 21,059 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SLC39A8-associated proteins across cancer lineages are NOP56, PAPSS2, and TBC1D1. Each is linked with SLC39A8 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC39A8-to-partner and partner-to-SLC39A8 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SLC39A8 versus NOP56 in OV, with a Pearson correlation of -0.40.
