Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC39A10 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC39A10 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SLC39A10 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC39A10 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KIRC, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SLC39A10 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
