Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC35F4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC35F4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC35F4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC35F4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, COAD, and PRAD are the cancer types where SLC35F4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
