Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC30A6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC30A6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SLC30A6 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC30A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and ACC are the cancer types where SLC30A6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
