Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC2A1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC2A1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher SLC2A1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC2A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
THYM, LUSC, and LGG are the cancer types where SLC2A1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
