Across TCGA cell cohorts, SLC26A4 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 341 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SLC26A4-associated genes across cancer lineages are C9orf92, ADAM7, and CCDC185. Each is linked with SLC26A4 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC26A4-to-partner and partner-to-SLC26A4 results are reported.
