Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A6P4 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SLC25A6P4’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where SLC25A6P4 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SLC25A6P4 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
CHOL, KIRC, and LUSC are the cancer types where SLC25A6P4 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
