Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A5 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher SLC25A5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG are the cancer types where SLC25A5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
