Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A48 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A48 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SLC25A48 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A48 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and LIHC are the cancer types where SLC25A48 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
