Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A43 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A43 data layer compared with 31 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SLC25A43 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A43 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where SLC25A43 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
