Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A39 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC25A39 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SLC25A39 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and OV show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and HNSC are the cancer types where SLC25A39 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
