Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC25A23 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC25A23 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SLC25A23 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC25A23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where SLC25A23 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
