Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC22A18AS RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLC22A18AS data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SLC22A18AS RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC22A18AS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and MESO show a favorable association.

KIRP, LAML, and ACC are the cancer types where SLC22A18AS RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
