Across TCGA patient cohorts, SLC1A2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,283 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SLC1A2-associated genes across cancer lineages are PARD6A, RAB3A, and DNAJC12. Each is linked with SLC1A2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SLC1A2-to-partner and partner-to-SLC1A2 results are reported.
