Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLC10A6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SLC10A6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SLC10A6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLC10A6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where SLC10A6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
