Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SLAMF9 RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SLAMF9 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SLAMF9 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SLAMF9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as DLBC and ESCA show a favorable association.
ACC, LUAD, and UCS are the cancer types where SLAMF9 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
