Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SKIL Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SKIL data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SKIL Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SKIL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where SKIL Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
