Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SIRT4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SIRT4 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher SIRT4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SIRT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SIRT4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
