Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SIK3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SIK3 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SIK3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SIK3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and COAD show a favorable association.
SCLC, STAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where SIK3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
