Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHROOM2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,166 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHROOM2-associated genes across cancer lineages are GPR143, IGFBP2, and DLG3. Each is linked with SHROOM2 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHROOM2-to-partner and partner-to-SHROOM2 results are reported.
