Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SHPK RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SHPK data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SHPK RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SHPK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRP show a favorable association.

SCLC, UVM, and LGG are the cancer types where SHPK RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
