Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHMT2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 18,872 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SHMT2-associated genes across cancer lineages are NXPH4, FLI1, and XPOT. Each is linked with SHMT2 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHMT2-to-partner and partner-to-SHMT2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SHMT2 versus NXPH4 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.49.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SHMT2→partner) and Y-score (partner→SHMT2) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
