SHMT1

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, SHMT1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHMT1-associated genes across cancer lineages are OR2C1, XCR1, and GAS2L2. Each is linked with SHMT1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHMT1-to-partner and partner-to-SHMT1 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, OR2C1 grouped by SHMT1-low versus SHMT1-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (SHMT1→partner) and Y-score (partner→SHMT1) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
