Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHISA4 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,100 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHISA4-associated genes across cancer lineages are SPOCK1, ELFN2, and PHYHIP. Each is linked with SHISA4 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHISA4-to-partner and partner-to-SHISA4 results are reported.
