Across TCGA patient cohorts, SHF mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 14 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SHF-associated genes across cancer lineages are VHL, ERK2, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with SHF in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SHF-to-partner and partner-to-SHF results are reported.
