Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SHCBP1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SHCBP1L data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SHCBP1L Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SHCBP1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and GBM show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where SHCBP1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
