Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3PXD2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3PXD2A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher SH3PXD2A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3PXD2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
THCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SH3PXD2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
