Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SH3PXD2A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SH3PXD2A data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SH3PXD2A mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SH3PXD2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SH3PXD2A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
